Blockdaemon is hiring a Web3 Strategic Finance Manager

Blockdaemon is looking for a Strategic Finance Manager to join our rapidly growing team. Reporting to the VP of Finance, the Strategic Finance Manager is a critical role that will lead organizational planning and goal setting across functions. Strategic Finance enables Blockdaemon to develop and execute on its growth strategy by driving financial visibility and accountability, grounded in strong financial analytics and facts. The FP&A team oversees Blockdaemon’s new and existing product growth, headcount, operating expenses and capital investments. Blockdaemon intends to leverage our unique view and positioning to see trends and opportunities that are developing within the company and broader crypto market.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- In this role, you will help to manage the growth of Blockdaemon with an emphasis on driving core financial planning cycles (annual operating plans, quarterly forecasts, long range plans, etc.) and providing business insights and financial guidance to the senior leadership team
- Track and monitor the performance of the business and provide forecast and actionable insights to improve business performance
- Assist with management and board business and financial planning, including presentations and key analysis requests
- Be a thought partner to key decision makers and partner with cross-functional teams including Finance, Accounting, IT, Product, Sales, and other teams to drive scalable analyses and insights
- Assist with ad hoc strategic and operational projects as required
Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business or equivalent
- 6+ years of experience, including a minimum of 2 years of experience in a corporate FP&A role
- Strong understanding of GAAP accounting, financials, and valuation
- Analytical and modeling skills including experience with excel and powerpoint
- Must possess excellent time management and prioritization skills
- Excellent oral and written communication and ability to effectively collaborate and drive initiatives cross-functionally
- Excellent attention to detail and an ability to produce high-quality, accurate work in a fast-paced environment
