Web3 Strategic Partnerships Manager, AAA Gaming

Mysten Labs believes that decentralized and open protocols are the bedrock of the internet of value. This is why at Mysten Labs, we are creating foundational infrastructure to accelerate the adoption of decentralized protocols based on blockchain technologies.

The Partnerships Team is responsible for creating and managing relationships with strategic partners that support the Sui ecosystem. We’re looking for a partnerships management professional to support Mysten Labs’ growth efforts.

What You'll Do:

• Build relationships with AAA gaming studios, platforms, and other gaming ecosystem partners.
• Source, structure, negotiate, and close partnerships to increase adoption of blockchain for games.
• Develop a fundamental understanding of growth consulting and analyzing key platform metrics to help the partner products grow.
• Build relationships and work with a cross-functional network of internal teams to help deliver new products and services for partners.
  
  

• Experience working in the games industry and/or leading partnerships with games/apps developers at a platform.
• You are a creative problem solver who embraces change and ambiguity. You know how to navigate within highly regulated and/or ambiguous landscapes.
• You can manage priorities and stay organized in a fast-paced environment.
• You love learning, especially bleeding edge tech like DeFi, NFTs DAOs and Web3.
• You are a strong communicator comfortable presenting to internal stakeholders and external partners.
• You bring 7+ years of experience in a technological organization, business development, consulting, finance, strategy, partnerships, sales, or business/product operations.
• You’ve got positive energy. You’re optimistic about the future and determined to get there.
• You appreciate direct communication. You’re both an active communicator and eager listener - as they both come hand-in-hand. You’re cool with candid feedback and see every setback as an opportunity to grow.
• You can pivot on the fly. Crypto is constantly evolving, so our priorities do, too. What you worked on last month may not be what you work on today, and that excites you. You’re not looking for a 9-5 job.
• You have experience managing and growing complex partnerships that require cross-functional teamwork within an organization.
• You thrive with autonomy, but you are also know when to pull other internal stakeholders in on projects and opportunities for support, advice, and second opinions.
