About the Role

We are seeking experienced individuals with a background in crypto capital markets, portfolio management, and trading execution to join the Cryptoeconomics & Investments team at ConsenSys. The team is responsible for recommending the capital markets view and investment strategy of the firm, with close connectivity to treasury management of our balance sheet, and decentralized finance product design and distribution.  

This role in particular focuses on working with our DeFi strategists and economists to implement the asset allocation of the firm, and maintain centralized and decentralized trading operations. It will also engage with the market structure of token launches and growth, such as AMMs and DeFi protocols, supporting proprietary and third party token capital markets strategy. The candidate will have an unrivaled opportunity for deep exposure to the crypto ecosystem, research into the asset class, and implementation of trading strategy across crypto venues.

Responsibilities:

• Be an engaged and active participant of the Cryptoeconomics & Investments team at ConsenSys
• Work with our DeFi strategists and economists to implement the asset allocation of the firm, and contribute to the design and improvement of the investment framework
• Design, implement, and maintain centralized and decentralized trading operations in response to market conditions, and trading and rebalancing plans approved by the investment committee
• Drive initiatives around the market structure of token launches and growth, such as AMMs and DeFi protocols, supporting proprietary and third party token capital markets strategy

Background:

• Portfolio management or capital markets experience with significant capital pools at a global investment management firm or exchange  
• Knowledge of crypto markets and its dynamics across financial instruments
• Experience working cross functionally with finance, research, legal, and product functions 
• Degree in economics, finance, or technical fields 
• Ability to work independently with senior stakeholders across the firm
