Web3 VIDEO PRODUCER

Compensation: $28k - $45k *

Location: Reykjavík Iceland

Directive Games was founded in 2014 by a group of industry veterans coming together from various AAA studios where they contributed to building some of the most iconic franchises over the last 20+ years. Over the years, we have developed a proprietary backend tech stack and are fascinated by any technology that enables and facilitates the creation of large persistent online universes that transcend the boundaries of our digital lives. We are currently developing a cross-platform (PC, Mobile, Web) massively multiplayer augmented reality blockchain game that allows players to build an entire virtual civilization from the ground up. We have offices in Reykjavik, Shanghai, and Los Angeles but accept applications from anyone willing to workremotely.

Are you a strong Video Producer that wants to help us tell the world about our exciting current and future projects?As a team member, you're expected to collaborate with other disciplines and be proactive in how we work to deliver quality content on time and on budget.


We believe you have:

  • Three to five years of professional experience in video production and other new media arenas.
  • Strong technical skills in video, audio, and post-production; including digital video editing, motion graphics and video compression for multiple delivery platforms.


And that you are:

  • Actively voicing ideas and opinions to the team in a constructive manner.
  • Communicating clearly and responsively.
  • Independent and strong team member.
  • Fluent in English, both written and spoken.


Your responsibilities will include:

  • Create and develop multimedia (audio/video) content for marketing our products, including but not limited to trailers, announcement videos, external social media videos.
  • The script, allocating resources, set deadlines and select optimal forms of media for projects.
  • Collaborate closely with internal clients and stakeholders to help facilitate multimedia content creation.
  • Develop production schedules.
  • Record and edit video and sound projects, including gameplay.
  • Capturing/importing media, organizing raw media, editing footage and sound files, creating and inserting static and motion graphics, titling, adding music/voice-over/SFX, media management, and archiving project media.


We’d also love:

  • Story-boarding skills
  • Unreal Engine experience
  • Experience with Live action shooting & planning, interviews, dev diaries, etc.
