Token Metrics is seeking a talented Video Editor and Animator Intern to join our team. You will arrange, assemble, and process recorded and stock footage into seamless, engaging videos that align with the director’s vision and project goals. Success in this role means producing dynamic, audience-appropriate content that expands our market reach and increases viewer engagement.

Key Responsibilities

• Video Production:

1. Create high-quality videos and short clips.

2. Develop content for YouTube Shorts, TikTok, and Instagram Reels.

3. Edit film pieces to ensure smooth, invisible transitions.

4. Handle and organize video files.

5. Export videos for mobile and web distribution.

1. Editing Process:

1. Understand production team’s needs and specifications.

2. Review scripts and raw footage to create shot lists.

3. Trim and sequence footage.

4. Add music, dialogues, graphics, and effects.

5. Produce rough and final cuts.

6. Ensure logical sequencing and smooth running.

7. Consult with stakeholders throughout the editing process.

8. Implement new editing technologies and best practices.

9. Explore different editing directions.

10. Ensure compliance with journalistic standards.

11. Adjust formats and file sizes as needed.

1. Channel Growth:

1. Develop and execute strategies to attract and retain subscribers on the Token Metrics YouTube channel.

Required Competencies:

• Technical Skills:

1. Proficiency in Adobe Premiere and Adobe After Effects.

2. Experience with digital technology and editing software (e.g., Avid Media Composer, Lightworks, Final Cut).

3. Proficient in non-linear video editing tools (Edius, Photoshop, Lightroom).

1. Social Media Expertise:

1. Experience with YouTube Shorts, TikTok, and Instagram Reels.

1. Industry Knowledge:

1. Familiarity with the crypto or trading industry is preferred.

1. Script Writing:

1. Strong script writing skills for engaging video content.

1. Ideal Candidate:

1. Proven work experience as a Video Editor.

2. Strong portfolio of edited and animated videos.

3. Knowledge of timing, motivation, and continuity.

4. Familiarity with special effects, 3D, and compositing.

5. Creative storytelling skills.

6. Understanding of digital trends and editing principles.

7. Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.

8. BS degree in film studies, cinematography, or related field.

9. Self-motivated and able to meet tight deadlines.

10. Passion for the crypto industry.
