Job Title: VP, Web3 and Innovation
Your Role
Warner Records is looking for a visionary digital marketer with a deep knowledge of Web3 and a passion for music to join the team in an exciting new role as VP of Web3 and Innovation.
The Vice President of Web3 and Innovation will function as Warner Records’ in-house expert on Web3 and emerging technologies, creating best-in-class strategies to keep our artists at the forefront of technology and bring music to fans in innovative ways.
Here You’ll Get To
- Develop and execute new opportunities for our artists to connect with their fans and drive revenue using Web3, Metaverse, AR, VR, gaming and emerging technologies.
- Work cross-functionally to leverage NFTs, gaming, and other tech platforms to elevate our digital marketing campaigns and drive music consumption in never-been-done ways.
- Partner with the WMX and the WMG Business Development team to leverage company-wide partnerships with technology vendors and execute award-winning campaigns.
- Maintain expertise on new platforms and develop and go-to-market strategies for new technologies.
- Educate internal executives, artists and management on best practices.
- Monitor consumer trends and data and share actionable insights for leadership to support decision-making.
- Develop success metrics and project KPIs and conduct post-mortem analyses to evaluate the success of each campaign.
- Ensure all timelines, budgets, and business goals are achieved.
About You
- Must have 7+ years of experience in digital marketing preferably within the music industry.
- Experience working on successful Web3 activations.
- Ability to work independently and cross-functionally within a team-oriented environment
- Exceptional project management skills
- Candidate must be motivated, creative, innovative, organized, detail-oriented and accustomed to working under tight deadlines.
- Excellent communication skills are a must.
