Founded in 2017, 0x Labs created and now partakes in the development of 0x protocol: a network comprised of open-source infrastructure, tooling, and cryptocurrency-based incentives that allow for the decentralized exchange of any blockchain-based digital asset. 0x is a secure, publicly owned and governed, and upgradable standard that’s abstracted away from application-layer developers and enables interoperability between blockchain-based applications.

Alongside the core protocol, 0x Labs also builds and maintains a suite of network incentives, business resources, developer/trader tools (e.g., 0x API), and end-user products (e.g., Matcha).

We’re a remote-first company with core contributors in nearly ten countries and over twice as many cities. Our headquarters is in San Francisco, with an office available for anyone on the team to use at any time. We’ll consider your application regardless of where you call home.


0X API

0x API is a liquidity aggregation tool that provides developers seamless access to the 0x protocol functionality, and also ensures users of 0x consistently get the best prices on trades by aggregating liquidity from all the major decentralized exchanges and performing smart order routing — splitting up transactions to be filled with the lowest slippage possible.


THE ROLE

This role is mission critical. As a Senior Integrations Engineer for 0x API you will be the primary bridge between our growing developer ecosystem and our product team. Our existing integrators include some of the top teams in DeFi like Matcha, DeFi Saver, Metamask, Zapper, Zerion and many others. You will utilize your technical acumen to drive high-quality integrations and your insight about our users will help inform our product strategy. You will work closely with our product team to ensure our offering continues to satisfy our largest and most strategic users’ needs.


RESPONSIBILITIES

• Interface directly with some of the fastest growing DeFi projects’ technical teams, serving as their primary technical point of contact before, during and after their integration
• Understand user requirements and communicate how 0x API can solve their business and technical challenges.
• Create technical content (sample code, demos, docs) to show customers how to implement specific use cases or best practices.
• Help improve 0x API by working with our product team to address customer feedback
  
  

REQUIRED

• 3+ years of full-time experience with a strong technical generalist background
• Experience with Solidity and smart contracts
• Comfort with code-level debugging
• Fluency in at least 2 programming languages with 2+ years of production-level software developer experience
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
• Intellectual curiosity and great problem solving skills
• Demonstrated ability to learn new tech and write secure and high-quality code

• Be comfortable talking about technical concepts and explaining how 0x API works
• Be able to think on your feet and dive into helping our users and partners with their technical issues
• Excel at generating excitement around what 0x API is building within our prospects and users
• Enjoy the puzzle of solving open-ended problems, both individually and as a member of our team
• Empathize with users of all experience levels and see through their questions to quickly grasp the root issues they’re facing
