THE OPPORTUNITY:


As a Corporate Actions Accounts Administrator, your role will be to take the lead in pitch management projects (from opening to closing) and ensuring projects are implemented in a compliant manner.


Responsibilities:


Manage regulatory requirements and provide contractual support -

  • Participate in the ongoing development of the regulatory broker function;
  • Work with Risk, Legal, Compliance, Tech and Privacy teams across Bnk To The Future to assess applicable regulations and set corresponding company standards;
  • Support Legal and various internal teams with legal contracts, including drafting communications to investors and clients, review and advise on agreements relating to commercial matters, insurance, corporate and other company business activities (both internal and external) leveraging external advisors and other providers where appropriate;
  • Collaborate with the Legal, Tech. and Product teams, client and investor-facing teams to establish and maintain the right contract with the Clients, taking into account best Client services, product offerings and applicable regulation management, whilst ensuring internal invoicing issues are resolved in a timely manner;
  • Identify, monitor and manage legal risks affecting the Group’s businesses and advising stakeholders on the impact of those risks and measures to mitigate them;
  • Ensure that legal and commercial risks (to the extent relevant to the post holder role) are identified and minimised through effective communication with applicable stakeholders as well as relevant support functional departments and, when necessary the Board of Directors;
  • Support the management of legal priorities and objectives within the business;
  • Represent Bnk To The Future's perspective, contribute to process design efforts, special projects and continuous improvement initiatives to positively impact our clients, the Legal, Marketing, Tech. Product and Compliance department;
  • Support the Compliance team with regulatory, data protection and contentious matters;
  • Undertake all activities in accordance with applicable Group policies and procedures to ensure that the interests of the Group and individual corporate entities are protected at all times;
  • Manage contractual relationships and legal risk with suppliers, partners and other third parties;
  • Advise on agreements that cover complex and cross-functional areas;
  • Ensure appropriate ethical standards exist and are adhered to within Bnk To The Future;
  • Report to the firm’s senior management team on a regular basis on all relevant compliance issues;
  • Ensure the relevant policies and procedures are in place and adhered to;
  • Risk-spot and proactively identify solutions that will eliminate or mitigate risk.


Pitch Management -

  • Support the Board with corporate and governance related matters, implementing the strategies set by the Board of Directors and the CEO;
  • Determine overarching goals and initiatives for Pitch Management team;
  • Identify Prospects, educate and qualify leads - build and demonstrate a solid understanding of the Crypto industry in order to spark meaningful conversations with our Clients and investors;
  • Work in partnership with Marketing to support the business on out-bounding strategies and to optimise prospect integration experience and conversion;
  • Provide information to the business to enable more productive follow-up meetings;
  • Facilitate discussion, negotiation and drafting of legal and regulatory analyses;
  • Administration of due diligence activities and review of associated documentation (both regulatory and legal in nature) in line with internal processes and requirements;
  • Work with the client onboarding teams to ensure a seamless client experience during their on-boarding;
  • Constantly innovate ways to drive the performance of the onboarding team;
  • Act as local gatekeeper to pitch due diligence and pitch legal Operations templates and materials;
  • Manage process documentation and provide ongoing support for implemented processes;
  • Provide training to trainees and internal stakeholders;
  • Coach, supervise and motivate junior members of the team;
  • Provide leadership across all aspects of the business, identifying and implementing training needs where required;
  •  Leverage Sales Development to qualify leads;
  • Leverage collaborative resources knowledge and network with senior stakeholders to develop relationships, strategy with strategic clients, taking an active role in implementation;
  • Collaborate with Marketing to strategically build pipeline and optimise conversion of prospects;

Management and support for Investees -

  • Lead presentations for Investee entity meetings
  • Primary point of contact (internally and externally) for operational work in the Investee entities e.g. billing, commissions, matter management and other legal applications
  • Deal with day-to-day enquiries from the existing investees to ensure excellent service levels and the momentum of key processes
  • Research and resolve enquiries/issues with broker billing and investees
  • Establish positive relationships with stakeholders and other business leaders

General administration -

  • Represent the business across various platforms and actively engage with colleagues, clients and investors at all levels to ensure brand/business superiority is maintained;
  • Deal with external counsel and suppliers, making proposals for the budget
  • Ensure that Bnk To The Future maintains accurate, detailed and up to date compliance records across all areas of the firm’s business
  • Ensure the firm can respond to requests for information from CIMA and provide the requisite notifications to the CIMA
  • Attend market/regulatory/governance webinars and feedback professional and regulatory risks with the business, ensuring all compliance initiatives are in place or proposing implementation, providing feedback to the Board as appropriate
  • Represent Bnk To The Future on a variety of topics before regulators, financial partners, users and other external audiences;
  • Ensure relevant CPD records are maintained and recorded accurately within the business;
  • Manage and handle BF Support Tickets related to investor relations and client services queries and complaints; 

Knowledge, Skills and Experience -

  • 7+ years of experience in a related regulatory and Compliance/Risk function at a financial services company or similar is desirable but not necessary;
  • Well organised self-starter, the ideal candidate should be able to work autonomously without much supervision and committed to ongoing learning; 
  • A good foundational knowledge of Compliance, regulations and AML requirements, sanctions, and consumer risks with familiarity applying compliance frameworks to crypto assets and products; 
  • Excellent judgment and analysis with the ability to research and compile complex data to a concise summary and make recommendation;
  • Mid-level to advance level knowledge of the Crypto-economy with a strong desire to learn more;
  • Keep abreast of Crypto industry development and current affairs;
  • Keep up to date with industry changes in areas of Crypto sector, securities law, compliance, regulatory procedures and requirements;
  • Experience in leading and motivating a team, leading by example;
  • Direct experience in due diligence and leading process design and execution;
  • Ability to take the initiative to keep up to date on relevant developments;
  • Have good understanding of global securities law;
  • Have very good business management skills;
  • Have excellent Client services / investor relations skills;
  • Must be well mannered with a gentle, warm and highly approachable persona; 
  • Must have excellent communication and written skills;

BF contractors shall be required to work virtually/remotely ("work from home") and securely (maintaining the highest level of security), using your own private, secured WiFi services/network and cloud based applications. All cloud based applications shall be determined by BF.
