JOB PURPOSE

Designers at Byte/Dept® bring to life authentic ideas that capture the audiences’ attention. They work within many different formats and social platforms, leveraging the latest tech. They combine strategic thinking with design, illustration and motion to deliver innovative work.

Our office in New York needs creative partners to help us tackle our client work. The team is made up of art directors, illustrators, animators (2D + 3D), and video editors, which means each designer brings something different to every project. Byte is building a strong, collaborative team in Argentina to work as an extension of the studio in New York to execute daily creative tasks.

The mid-weight Motion Designer that would be a dedicated part of Twitch account to work with the rest of the design team to execute daily social and campaign tasks.

The base compensation for this full-time position will be between $60,000 - $80,000. Salary will commensurate with the person's appropriate work experience.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

This role is fast paced, varied and constantly evolving:

• Collaborate with team on a day-to-day basis.
• Strong execution ofanimation skills of typography and graphics.
• Exercise composition andlayout skills.
• Work with many different formats and platforms to create global campaigns.
• Create and follow templatized files without changing structure.
• Bring storyboards to life with tidy ae files with organized assets.
• Be aware of and respond to current design and culture.
• Meet quick-turn deadlines.
• Ensure quick andattentive communication with New York team

SKILLS AND PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE

Essential:

• 4+ years proven experience as a Motion or Graphic designer or similar role
• Proven experience withcreating animation of vector, photographic and 3D assets
• Strong portfolio and/or reel exhibiting completed animation projects and campaigns
• Expert knowledge of Adobe creative suite
• Fundamental experience in video editing
• Strong aesthetic skills with the ability to combine various colors, fonts and layouts
• Ability to meet deadlines
• Capable in working autonomously along with collaborating with a team
• Organized and is able to prioritize effectively
• Excellent communication skills and can clearly articulate your ideas
• Attention to visual details
• Ability to remain focused under pressure within a fast-paced environment
• A love for learning new things and exploring new formats

Nice to have:

• Experience with C4D, Maya, or Blender.
• Experience with videography
• Experience with sound design and using Audition
