Role Overview
We’re looking for an experienced Project Manager to lead the intersection between our engineering team and our current and future clients. You will be responsible for structuring our engineering efforts (sprint design and management), coordinating across teams to ensure the timely delivery of features and product updates, managing customer success activities, and making sure our external documentation is continuously up to date.
Key Responsibilities
Project & Sprint Management
Oversee the planning, scheduling, and execution of sprints.
Develop clear project timelines, milestones, and deliverables in collaboration with engineering leads.
Proactively identify and mitigate risks and bottlenecks in the development process.
Client Success & Relationship Management
Serve as the primary point of contact for existing and new clients.
Conduct regular check-ins to understand client needs, gather feedback, and ensure high satisfaction levels.
Translate client requirements into actionable tasks for the engineering team.
Cross-Functional Coordination
Ensure effective communication between stakeholders, including engineering, product, and business teams.
Work closely with leadership to align project goals with business objectives and product roadmaps.
Documentation & Knowledge Management
Maintain and update external documentation, ensuring product changes are accurately reflected.
Collaborate with marketing and product teams to keep all stakeholder-facing materials current and clear.
Process Improvement
Continuously refine and optimize internal processes for greater efficiency and clarity.
Identify opportunities to enhance project tracking and reporting mechanisms.
Qualifications
- Native English speaker with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- 5+ years of experience in project management roles at leading venture-backed startups (Web2 or Web3).
- Proven track record of managing cross-functional teams (engineering, product, and customer success).
- Demonstrable experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies, including sprint planning and retrospectives.
- Strong understanding of software development processes and tools (e.g., Notion, Linear, Jira, Asana, Trello, or similar).
- Experience in client-facing roles, particularly in gathering requirements and managing expectations.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, remote-friendly environment with distributed teams.
Nice-to-Have
- Knowledge of or interest in Web3, DeFi, staking, or yield-related ecosystems.
- Familiarity with APIs, developer documentation, and technical writing best practices.
- Experience scaling teams or processes in a hyper-growth startup environment.
