Today, DCG sits at the epicenter of the industry, backing more than 200 companies in over 35 countries. DCG also invests directly in digital currencies and other digital assets. In addition to its investment portfolio, DCG is the parent company of a number of subsidiaries that have emerged as digital asset leaders, including Grayscale Investments (the world’s largest digital asset manager) and Foundry (a financing and advisory company focused on digital asset infrastructure).

What Is The Role:

We have an exciting opportunity for a dynamic individual to join the team as a Communications Associate reporting to the SVP, Communications and Marketing. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting internal and external communications strategies, managing brand and social media initiatives, and partnering on events.

To be successful in this role, you must be a proven collaborator and communicator; you know how to listen and work well with multiple stakeholders and navigate ambiguity.

What You’ll Be Responsible For:

  1. Internal and External Communications: Partner with the SVP, Communications and Marketing on internal and external communication strategies and campaigns to effectively convey company initiatives, updates, and key messages to employees, external stakeholders, the media, and the general public.
  2. Media Relations: Act as a point of contact for media inquiries and develop strong relationships with journalists, influencers, and publications spanning traditional, digital, and trade outlets. Draft press releases, develop media strategies and campaigns, and other communication materials. Coordinate and facilitate press interviews.
  3. Social Media Management: Maintain DCG’s presence on social media platforms, including Twitter and LinkedIn. Create engaging content, monitor conversations, and respond to inquiries, ensuring consistent brand messaging and corporate reputation.
  4. Brand and Events: Support integrated marketing campaigns that align with the company’s strategy. Assist in the planning, coordination, and execution of company events and conferences.
  5. Crisis Communications: Assist in developing and implementing crisis communication plans. Monitor and assess potential reputational risks and develop proactive strategies to mitigate negative impacts.
  6. Crypto Curiosity: Stay informed about developments in the cryptocurrency industry and demonstrate an understanding of blockchain technology. Leverage this knowledge to effectively communicate the company's initiatives and partnerships and influence the industry’s rapidly evolving narrative.

What You’ll Bring:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, or a related field.
  • 3-5 years of experience in the communications industry. Experience in the digital asset industry not required, but a plus.
