FT Longitude, the Financial Times’ thought leadership business, is looking to recruit a Group Editor – Financial Services, with experience of creating content across a range of formats and channels, to join our fast-growing team. Role overview
The successful candidate will lead research programmes for some of the world’s most influential financial services businesses. In so doing, you will find compelling new things to say about ESG, asset management strategies, fintech, payments innovation, and more.
A significant advantage for this role would be experience working with global banks, insurers and asset managers, along with knowledge of evolving trends in financial services, regulation and technologies such as web3 and real-time payments.
You will be responsible for writing surveys, interviewing opinion-formers, extracting stories from data, and working closely with clients to help shape their thinking. You will work on a wide range of content, including long-form reports, podcasts, opinion pieces, narrative and messaging decks, and related digital and interactive content.
The successful candidate needs to be conscientious, reliable, and supportive of others in the team.

Location
Usually we are based in the FT’s city centre HQ, overlooking St Paul’s Cathedral in London. Option for team members to work in a hybrid environment on a continued basis.
