Our Contributor Program supports passionate Solidity engineers seeking to break into the space or to enhance their resume with impressive projects and open-source contributions that are officially recognized by our organization. We believe early contributors deserve a significant stake in the project, which is why ⅕ of our upcoming token supply is allocated to rewarding contributions. Rewards are distributed through a transparent, merit-based system to ensure fairness.


About Us

HoneyBadger Framework pioneers a groundbreaking new approach to storage and permission management in Solidity smart contract systems, offering a diverse range of concrete advantages when compared to traditional Proxy-Delegate and Diamond architectures. It introduces a consolidated storage layer that leverages hash-segregated, dynamically-allocatable storage spaces populated by custom extendible structs. This enables developers to create new storage structures and seamlessly extend them in-place, without re-deployments. The consolidation of data into this fluid, dynamically-extendible layer secured by RBAC and deterministic, collision-free hashing structures enables unparalleled cross-contract interoperability: it introduces a secure, unified storage picture with consistent access patterns and guaranteed single-hop proximity.


An important note is that HoneyBadger is highly-optimized, leveraging unique gas-saving techniques and a Yul-heavy implementation. It standardizes and simplifies access to full upgradeability, but enables developers to maintain provable decentralization via optional autonomously-executing governance mechanisms. In practice, it greatly simplifies development, allowing teams to focus entirely on business logic, removing the need for getters/putters/adapters entirely, and minimizing risk surface by abstracting away risky low-level operations often required for storage upgrades, not to mention the costs saved via in-place upgrades rather than re-deployments.


HoneyBadger has extremely high applicability, being a valid option for any smart contract system that stores data. In addition the deep technical benefits listed above, we are confident it will become a staple solution on the basis of its cost and time-saving properties. Where traditional architectures add significant complexity and require considerable manual effort, HoneyBadger leverages a straightforward interface and reduces auditable lines of code.

Initiatives denied due to quality concerns can be revised and resubmitted, and can also be submitted for community review.

Token Unlock Schedule

Tokens are distributed proportionally (tokens = user points / total points) at the end of each sprint using a Merkle Airdrop. The token will not be tradable until it has safely launched on a top-tier launchpad.
