Software Developer - GO ( Remote )

Keeper Solutions is an International software services firm with a global reach. Its head office is located in Limerick, Ireland and delivery centres in Croatia, Serbia, Romania, Poland and Russia. We are expanding our team in Zagreb and we are looking for the right candidates to ensure the provision of world-class support services to our clients in Ireland and USA.

While working as part of a highly skilled technical team in a collaborative team environment, you will be delivering scalable, secure, highly available API based systems.

Main responsibilities:

• Design, build, and maintain high performance, reusable, and reliable code. 
• Working within an Agile environment with LEAN principles you will be a member of a strong team with a strict emphasis on continuous integration, automated testing and continuous delivery. 
• Work in a collaborative way within creative, cooperative, highly skilled development squads. • Demonstrate a keen sense of urgency and shared ownership of our client's products. 
• Working within a well-defined development process and adhering to code quality standards, you'll perform the technical software design and estimation of complex work packages. 
• Work closely and proactively with customers to ensure that project deliverables fulfil their requirements. 
• Identify opportunities for improvement and make constructive suggestions for change.
• Continuously monitor quality and stability of technology stack delivered and proactively propose improvements and changes where required supported by data acquired from system feedback deployment

Requirements:

• Postgraduate degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related technical field. 
• Minimum 3 years experience as a software developer 
• Strong understanding and experience of developing in GO 
• Experience building cloud-native applications with a major cloud provider (Azure, AWS, GCP).
•  Knowledge of standard architectural design patterns, BDD, TDD and Test Automation. 
• Experience in designing and implementing large volume and highly scalable asynchronous enterprise applications using technologies such as Event Sourcing, CQRS, microservices, Kubernetes, etc. 
• Experience in build & development tools such as Jenkins, SonarQube, etc 
• Experience in public cloud provision through IaC (Terraform, Ansible…) 
• Experience with NoSQL databases (Apache Cassandra, MongoDB). 
• The ability to command respect and to create a working environment of collaboration amongst the members of the project teams. 
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a proven ability to present complex technical information in a clear and concise manner to a variety of audiences.
