Job Summary

Our Technology & Outsourcing practice group is seeking an associate with at least 2 years of experience to join their team. You will lead complex commercial transactions focusing on blockchain/crypto matters. You must have deep crypto knowledge and strong technology transactions experience. M&A experience in the crypto space is a plus.

We are open to staffing this role in our Dallas, Chicago, Los Angeles, or New York offices.

Qualifications

• 2-5 years of experience in technology transactions and commercial contracting (preferably at a law firm)
• Experience with blockchain/crypto
• Strong knowledge of commercial issues, IP, and risk issues in crypto and tech deals
• Some regulatory crypto experience is helpful (but not required)
• Must be barred in the jurisdiction where you will practice

Expected Pay Range for Associates: 2026/2025 Class Compensation Years: $235,000

2024 Class Compensation Years: $245,000

2023 Class Compensation Years: $270,000

2022 Class Compensation Years: $320,000

2021 Class Compensation Years: $385,000

2020 Class Compensation Years: $410,000

2019 Class Compensation Years: $440,000

2018 and more senior class compensation years: $455,000
