Onramp Invest is growing and looking to hire a seasoned VP of Sales to lead and build the sales and go to market teams. This individual should have experience selling enterprise-level SaaS contracts within the fintech, wealthtech, RIA, or banking space, as well as leading and growing high-performing sales organizations. It is imperative that the candidate be viewed by customers as a relationship-centric, credible executive-level consultant throughout the sales process.
Onramp Invest is bridging the gaps in financial planning and digital asset management. The company provides a path for investors to gain access to the crypto economy via their preferred financial professionals and institutions by integrating with traditional financial institutions and cutting edge cryptocurrency providers.
In this role, you are responsible for:
Developing and executing sales strategies that drive revenue for the company
Setting, monitoring and reporting on sales goals and adjusting tactics as needed to reach them
Hiring, developing, and managing a high performing sales team
Working with COO to operationalize and implement scalable processes throughout the GTM team, from marketing, sales, to CS
Carrying your own book of business - it’s not JUST a leadership role; this role includes leading and growing a team, as well as producing results and managing large clients
Prospecting potential new customers through targeted outbound activity.
Understanding customer growth goals, strategies & initiatives, and establishing Onramp as a best in class solution.
Working closing with other members of the leadership team to drive strategic direction and resource allocation for the company
Lead marketing, CS, and partnership teams - must have an understanding of those departments and how they can seamlessly integrate with sales + handoffs from department to department
Help maintain key customer and partner relationships
Providing detailed sales forecasting
Monitor the market and competitor products and activities
Provide feedback to product team based on what you hear from prospects, clients, and the market in general
Managing account relationships, pipeline, and forecast in Salesforce CRM.
What you’ll need:
Minimum 7+ years of experience in a sales leadership role
Experience growing and leading a sales organization in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
Proven track record of hitting and exceeding goals in enterprise SaaS sales; a focus on FinTech / wealth tech preferred but not essential
In-depth knowledge and understanding of the market and competitive positioning
Excellent communication, relationship-building, and networking skills
Creative sales and marketing strategies / methods to drive results
Familiarity with managing the entire pipeline creation / sales cycle - from marketing, lead generation, sales, to CS…including both inbound and outbound strategies.
Great strategic planning, organization, and creative thinking skills
Experience in financial modeling or setting pricing strategies a plus
Be a team player, understanding that other groups within the company need to be successful and you can successfully work together.
