OpenWorld Labs is a Web3 incubator that develops tokenized communities focused on humanity’s passions.

We are seeking a Product Manager for our first community, WineGrower (winegrower.co). The PM will guide the design and development of both our product offering and platform.

This role reports directly to the Head of Product and will ultimately lead product efforts for other OpenWorld communities as we grow.If that gets you fired up and you have a passion for consumer technology, wine or Web3 technologies, we want to hear from you!

Note: We prefer this to be a contract-to-hire position, since this will enable us to get to know each other before making a long-term commitment.

The role is fully remote, with most of the team located in Southern California. Because we are targeting U.S. consumers, you must be located in North America.

The job…

• Product Ownership: Lead product vision, strategy, development, and successful execution of new product initiatives and features.
• User experience: You will own the user experience for our NFT mints, and the user benefits that come bundled with our NFTs. These include our virtual winemaking experience, wine club, IRL experiences at our vineyard and more. .
• Customer Focus: Be the advocate for our customers (internal and external) and understand the needs of our community to build delightful experiences.
• Collaboration: Work cross-functionally with engineering, design, marketing, data, QA, and other teams to build out an amazing product.
• Communication: Articulate the problem you’re solving, the vision you are going after, write crisp and clear requirements and communicate the challenges and constraints to senior management and various stakeholders.
• Influence: Break down large projects into milestones, make trade-off decisions while balancing the nuances of implementation details and time-to-market needs, and get buy-in from cross-functional teams.
• Data-informed decision-making: Use A/B Testing, analytics, market research, usability studies and competitive analysis to drive product decisions.
• Analytics: Focus on product instrumentation and analytics and iterate based on data and user insights.

You…

• Minimum of 5+ years of B2C or B2B product management experience.
• Proven track record for building, launching and scaling successful products. Can take an idea/opportunity from a problem statement to a beautiful final product.
• Demonstrated ability to lead and partner with designers, engineers, and other cross-functional stakeholders.
• Strong communicator with the ability to bring people together to define a common vision and plan for action.
• Ability to work on multiple projects under pressure and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience bringing consumer products to market in crypto, NFTs, gaming, fintech or SaaS. Bonus points for wine industry experience.
• You are passionate about and familiar with cryptocurrency, blockchain, NFTs OR DeFi ecosystems
• BA/BS degree or equivalent; MBA or technical degree a plus.
