Who We Are:
We are building a novel programmable automated market maker (AMM) protocol to automate liquidity provision and disrupt the opaque crypto market making industry.
You'll be building with us at the 0-to-1 stage to architect and launch the product for our first users.

Responsibilities:
As a Founding Engineer, you’ll be work in a small team to help bring the product to life.
We are building on top of Starknet, a Layer 2 scaling solution for Ethereum, so knowledge of the ecosystem is preferred. Otherwise, you should be a strong engineer with experience building from 0 to 1 on top of other web3 stacks.

You will:
- Build and maintain the backend infrastructure to support a performant user experience (indexer, microservices, DB, API)
- Build out a Typescript SDK for interacting with the smart contracts
- Build clean, maintainable React components to convert designer mockups into performant frontend UIs
- Own the developmental process to ensure smooth CI/CD
- Optionally, contribute to the development of the core and periphery smart contracts
Requirements:
- 3-5+ years of engineering experience, with at least 2 years in a web3-related role
- Experience with both frontend (Typescript, React, NodeJS) and backend (PostgreSQL, AWS, Docker, GraphQL)
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or equivalent
- A strong interest in web3 and Blockchain technology
- Experience delivering 0 to 1 projects with significant ownership of outputs
- Strong communication, analytical and problem-solving skills
- Highly autonomous, with the ability to manage others in the future as we scale our team
We’re a remote company but prefer to hire from Europe so we can collaborate during the same working hours. If you're based in London, that's a welcome bonus so we can jam together IRL.
