About the role
In this role, you will join the dynamic and dedicated Content & Integrated Marketing team to assist our ongoing efforts to grow the StockX audience through NFT-oriented content creation and storytelling. You will work cross-functionally with marketing, catalog, and merchandising teams, as well as outside partners, to craft and execute a culturally and community aware NFT content strategy and write compelling, brand-aligned editorial and site content, with a focus on NFTs, digital trading, and the future of crypto commerce. The StockX customer is young, sophisticated, and highly engaged with current culture. Thus, while the editorial content you create will be optimized for the NFT curious, it must also include high-quality, culturally-relevant storytelling that resonates with our audience that includes the NFT-wary. A healthy dose of skepticism will set this person up for optimal success.
What you will do
- Work cross-functionally with internal stakeholders to develop NFT content strategy, using insights from analytics and sales data to set priorities and goals
- Execute on that strategy by writing site content and customer communication (i.e. emails, push notifications, FAQs, educational documents) that drive discovery, excitement, and audience growth
- Write community and critical-friendly editorial content and cultural storytelling focused on NFTs and the digital trading community and culture
- Create content that is consistent with our brand voice and values
- Work closely with our Creative team to create editorial assets that align with our brand voice and resonate with our audience
- Support and service merchandising and go-to-market teams to help fulfill company-wide NFT content needs
- Work in partnership with outside partners to tell stories, explain details, identify opportunities, and execute strategy related to storytelling optimization
About you
- You have a minimum of 5 years experience in industry- and culturally-relevant editorial content creation and at least 6 months of experience with NFTs, either personal or professional
- You have extensive experience pitching stories in highly competitive environments
- You have experience editing other writers
- You are comfortable analyzing data and generating actionable insights from that data and have deep experience optimizing work for SEO
- You possess deep knowledge of and passion for NFTs and digital trading, and have some experience writing editorial content about these product categories
- You are familiar with other StockX product categories like sneakers and streetwear, and the communities that trade in them
- You stay up-to-date on the latest developments in NFTs and digital trading and know what trends and expectations are in-demand across the industry
- You love working and writing collaboratively with a team
- You have experience using content management systems (i.e. Wordpress)
- You foster a healthy skepticism of NFTs and crypto culture that allows you to speak to other skeptics with understanding, patience, and clear communication
