Description
The Digital Chamber is seeking an Events Coordinator based in Washington, DC. The Events Coordinator will support the planning and execution of high-profile events including our flagship event, the DC Blockchain Summit. This role will play a key part in delivering best-in-class experiences that enhance member value and elevate the TDC brand. The ideal candidate is a self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced environment, demonstrates strong project management skills, and can confidently support multiple projects from concept through execution.
This hybrid role will report to the Director, Member Experience & Engagement. We are in office Tuesday-Thursday.
Responsibilities
- Support the planning and execution of high-profile, large-scale, and bespoke events.
- Coordinate end-to-end logistics, including venue research, vendor communication, F&B, signage, AV, registration, room blocks, load in/load out.
- Contribute to the development and maintenance of key planning materials such as event timelines, budgets, run-of-show documents, and post-event debriefs.
- Assist in internal and external planning meetings by preparing agendas, capturing and managing action items, and ensuring stakeholder alignment throughout planning process.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure events align with member needs and broader organizational goals.
- Track and incorporate attendee feedback to continuously improve future event experiences.
- Ensure events comply with security, insurance, and brand standards.
- Stay informed on industry trends and recommend opportunities to innovate or enhance the member experience.
Qualifications
- BA/BS degree in Marketing, Communications, Hospitality, or related field
- 3+ years of experience in events or experiential marketing
- Demonstrated ability to support and coordinate logistics for owned and sponsored events
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects
- Proven success producing high-quality work under tight deadlines in fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to work both collaboratively and independently
- Experience using Asana, Salesforce, Microsoft Office
- Willingness to travel and work evening or weekends as needed for key events
- Ability to lift and transport event equipment or supplies up to 30lbs
- Experience or interest in web3/blockchain
