Community Manager Jobs at Thesis*

About the Role:

We are looking for a crypto-native community leader who is passionate about user-owned open source products, to work on a web3 wallet launching later in 2021.

The ideal candidate is someone who can create and own communities, speak to multiple audiences, and be a steward for governance. This role will play an integral part of the founding team and in a successful launch.

You will develop and drive the community launch strategy; deliver key messages about the product’s open-sourced, community-owned design; guide the community through the launch; and serve as the initial point of feedback between the product team & the community.

Thesis* is the studio behind Fold, Keep, tBTC, Saddle. We’re a fun, down-to-earth, fast-paced, highly collaborative, and fully remote team.

About You:

• You’re deeply passionate about crypto and have been involved in the space for 2+ years
• You have a natural knack for effective online communication & community building
• You’re a product nerd who cares about getting at the best possible user experience
• You’re in crypto because you care deeply about individual sovereignty and empowerment, not just for the gainz

What You’ll Do:

• Develop & execute a strategy for community engagement and growth at launch
• Grow engagement centered in our Discord community, in addition to Twitter and Telegram.
• Implement a Discord moderation plan
• Run early beta testing groups with the product team
• Stand up and manage early governance - create a forum, organize early community leaders, communicate new proposals and upcoming votes & results, host AMAs/live forums, solicit future proposals
• Implement a community ambassador program which results in community owned and managed product documentation & support functions

Ideally You’ll Have:

• 2-5 years startup experience, ideally with consumer products
• 2+ years active in the crypto ecosystem, DeFi a plus - You love being plugged into the crypto community on Twitter and other platforms
• A creative mindset and enjoy telling stories in new ways to engage large audiences
• Excellent written community skills & experience writing marketing content for blogs, social media posts
• A growth hacker mentality and you enjoy thinking of new ways to expand our reach - familiarity with growth & product marketing fundamentals a plus
• Participatory knowledge of the past year of fair launch DeFi protocols - Yearn, SushiSwap, Harvest, Yam, etc.
• Meticulous organization skills and can manage and leverage a large community
• Comfort being ‘extremely online’ & love make memes

Location:

All Thesis roles are remote first, with a preference for Europe & Americas time zones.
