Description

Voice is looking for a senior software engineer to develop interoperability bridges for sending NFTs between the Voice blockchain and other blockchains such as Solana and Ethereum-based proof of stake blockchains. A successful candidate for this role will design, build, and maintain software that runs on the target blockchains to handle NFT creation and exchange, that monitors transfer of NFTs between the Voice blockchain and other chains to ensure NFT integrity, and that provides quality user experiences for Voice users. This position will be part of a high energy team responsible for the vision, architecture, and technical roadmap of services for Voice’s native and integrated blockchains. This role will have a primary focus on Ethereum-based blockchains.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain high-quality software for Ethereum-based blockchains and for bridging between those blockchains and Voice
• Be a subject matter expert on Ethereum-based blockchains and NFTs, smart contracts, and integration services on those blockchains
• Evaluate technologies, architecture approaches, software patterns, and conduct other research to explore solution alternatives
• Collaborate with project sponsors, other software development teams, other business functions, and the Voice community to determine application requirements and priorities
• Ensure adherence to requirements for quality, security, extensibility, maintainability, availability, scale, performance, etc.
• Other duties as assigned

Skills and Experience

• 5+ years of software development
• 2+ years of Ethereum and Solidity experience
• Extensive knowledge of NFTs, ERC721, and ERC1155
• Extensive experience with JavaScript, JSON, scripting (Python, shell, etc.)
• TypeScript and GraphQL highly desirable
• Able to design APIs for web and mobile applications
• Experience working with Github, Google Cloud Platform
• Experience working with Kubernetes and build/deploy orchestration tools such as helm.
• A history of collaboration with development, operations, UX, design and business units within an organization.
• BA/MS in Computer Science, Systems Engineering, or related field; or equivalent experience
• Excellent writing and verbal communication skills
