The Senior Platform Developer-APIs/Cryptois a critical resource in our organization, delivering an exciting new opportunity in cryptocurrency security. Reporting to the Vice President of Engineering, you and your team are entrusted to design, develop and integrate new services to enable our customers to secure and control their cryptocurrency assets in real time. While that has never been possible until now, this exciting initiative gives you an opportunity to positively impact a trillion-dollar industry, engaging in complex technology areas and making them readily consumable by customers. What You'll Do

• Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable software solutions employing API frameworks, .NET libraries & applications, and Azure cloud services.
• Lead the development of mission critical features & functions by helping translate business requirements and use cases for new cryptocurrency services into technical design, functional applications and secure, scalable deployments.
• Review, test, and verify code for adherence to quality and security standards -- ensuring high performance, quality, and responsiveness of our applications.
• Contribute to the long-term technology roadmap for the cryptocurrency security solution and collaborate with internal/external development teams to integrate with our platform.
• Understand our business comprehensively, including the applications’ functional and non-functional requirements and their impact on performance, scalability, integration and security.
• Help to mentor and develop emerging talent within the organization while driving collaboration with a cross-functional team of software, quality and devops engineers, technical writers, operations and infosec groups.
• Continually drive process improvements and technical innovation for software development tools, technology, frameworks, and methodologies.

Who You Are

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field preferred.
• A minimum of 7+ years' software development experience, with strong experience in .NET, REST API development , C# , ASP.net, Azure AD.
• Strong experience developing API frameworks, including use of event processing models, multi-threading, enterprise integration pattern, web services, REST and web sockets.
• Strong design & OOP skills, troubleshooting & problem-solving skills and a passion for clean code.
• Experience in any of the following is preferred: web3 and/or decentralized technologies including smart contracts, Solidity applications, web3.js protocols, start-up experience.
• Must have at least 7+ years' experience in highly available, enterprise commercial client and web-based applications that support large transaction volumes.
• Must have at least 7+ years' experience of design, development, release cycle, and delivery of software products to market.
• The ability to communicate and influence your team, peers, and other parts of the organization.
• Must be a results-oriented expert who has demonstrated effective decision making and delivered results.

Annual Salary

$135K - $150K
