We are looking to hire Software Engineers to join our 2022 Graduate Program at our offices in London, Malaga and Zug. The role will be an integral part of the firm’s Information Technology division.

This role reports to the Software Engineering team in the region.

GSR’s Graduate program overview: 

The Graduate program will commence in July 2022.  It will be a 6 month structured program that will offer you a fantastic chance to quickly integrate and embed in GSR’s Information Technology division.

Your journey will begin with an intensive leading training program that will equip you with professional skills, technical and financial training.

During your first 6 months, you will gain hands-on structured learning experience working within our  technology team as a software engineering graduate. You will work closely with our experienced software engineers and receive continuous learning and development. Software engineers are involved in everything from product development to production support and work closely with the business teams to develop the firm’s service offering. They are split into teams that focus on GUI Development, Front, Middle and Back Office Development, Core Platform Dev as well as DeFi. 

You will be fully supported and guided by your managers and mentored by experienced software engineers 

Who are we looking for?:

• You will be a 2022 graduate from an undergraduate or postgraduate degree in Computer Science or Engineering or equivalent
• You will be on track to achieve a 2:1 or equivalent as a minimum
• A team player with excellent communications skills, highly motivated, adaptable and proactive 
• Excellent organisation skills, ability to prioritise tasks and react to change quickly whilst working in a fast paced environment
• A disciplined self-starter with a positive attitude who is resilient and possesses a significant degree analytical rigor and strong attention to detail Passionate about working with our technology stack; - Programming - proficiency in either Java, C++ and Python required - Databases - MySQL, Mongo, Influx, etc. - Container Technology - Kubernetes, Rancher / DockerWeb application technologies (React JS, etc.) 
• Ability and an interest to write simple and clean code
• Interest in solving problems and learning to create solutions from the ground up
• Strong understanding of data structures and threading models
• Strong interest in the cryptocurrency market and the financial services market
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English are essential
• Past internship experience within a software engineering / development and coursework in algorithms, coding and programming is desirable
