Job Description:
We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer (Systems) with 4+ years of experience to join us in our endeavors at Iris Technology.
The ideal candidate will have experience in cloud native infrastructure and deployment, as well as expertise in systems architecture and distributed systems. As a Senior Software Engineer (Systems), you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining our systems software to ensure scalability, reliability, and security. In this role you will leverage experience across a variety of software domains to build out critical systems and infrastructure.
Responsibilities:
- Design and develop cloud native infrastructure and deployment solutions
- Develop and maintain scalable, secure, and reliable distributed systems
- Develop and maintain key software components within developed infrastructure using Javascript, TypeScript, Python, and C++ or Rust where performance is demanded
- Implement and manage docker and docker deployment environments such as K8s, K3s, Swarm, etc.
- Manage the infrastructure development lifecycle, including development, testing (unit/integration), and deployment (CI/CD)
- Support AI/ML integration efforts by providing hardware optimized execution containers and runtimes
- Collaborate with solution architects and project managers to deliver robust software products efficiently
- Troubleshoot and debug issues in production and non-production environments
- Stay up-to-date with new and emerging technologies and recommend improvements to existing technologies and processes
Qualifications/Requirements:
- Experience architecting and implementing within distributed and or decentralized environments
- Strong proficiency in cloud native infrastructure and deployment
- Deep experience with docker, containerization, and container orchestration patterns
- Experience with various authentication patterns
- Exposure to blockchain, web3, and decentralized applications
- Strong problem solving and analytical skills
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
