Web3 Academy Operations Lead

As Academy Operations Lead you will: 

Are you someone who finds joy in a well put together spreadsheet? Do you take pride in taking care of the small details? Is building and maintaining a strong, well-functioning team exciting to you? Then this is the position for you.

Academy runs the best-in-class blockchain education experience. We currently run Bootcamps, produce content, run webinars and assist with enterprise trainings. A Lead Operations person will be able to handle the communications and logistics underpinning Academy’s educational offerings.
 

Main responsibilities:

• Own incoming Academy communications. Being able to sort between the different demands of external requests from customers and students as well as internal requests from teams requiring educational content or exposure to developers.
• Managing communications from the Academy email account
• Streamlining operational processes for the Academy team
• Assisting and coordinating on research efforts
• Coordinating meetings/project management with other departments for cross functional projects
• Managing ConsenSys Academy events and conferences
• Providing support on special projects and initiatives
   

Characteristics:

• Past Experience dealing with a wide variety of operational tasks
• Working Proficiency with professional email communications, manipulation of basic data via spreadsheets
• Rigorous Prioritizer Demand will always outstrip capacity in this role, should be able to clearly prioritize and manage tasks with competing importance.
• Structured Problem Solver who can bring process and prioritization to the table
• Analytical Can break down problems to the core issue and come to conclusions on how to proceed from the problem point
• Follow-Through Being able to commit to good estimations around time and ability on tasks. Can also signal as soon as things look like they will take longer than expected.
• A Communications Ace
• Management skills
• Strategic thinker

Nice to have:

• Good knowledge of Hubspot
• Previous experience in teaching institutions
• Previous experience in a start-up environment
