Accounting Remote Internships

Company Name: IG US Holdings, Inc. Role: Accounting + Finance Intern Location: Chicago, ILCompensation: $20/hrExpected hours: 40 hr/week We are seeking a motivated individual to join our team as a hybrid Accounting, Financial Planning & Analysis Intern. You will work closely with experienced professionals to support various financial tasks, including:  Accounting: Assist with general ledger tasks, account reconciliations, journal entries, monthly close review and financial statement preparation. FP&A: Contribute to budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis. Develop financial models and reports to support strategic decision-making. What You'll Do: 

Assist with month-end close procedures, including accruals, fixed assets, and other journal entries  Prepare financial reports and analyses  Support the budgeting and forecasting process, including data collection, analysis, and model development Assist with ad-hoc projects and analyses as needed Present a unique perspective to the business and propose a solution

Who You Are: 

To qualify for this internship, candidates must be enrolled as a junior or senior in college Pursuing a degree in Finance, Economics, or Accounting with a GPA of 3.2+  Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other financial software Pivot Tables, Vlookup Formulas, etc.  Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Other Preferred Qualifications: 

Prior internship or work experience with excel Experience with financial modeling and forecasting
