Through a single API, Merge provides new-age businesses, such as web3 companies, with banking and payments solutions that enable them to instantly create bank accounts, send payments and seamlessly convert funds between fiat and stablecoin. We aim to reduce the cost and complexity of embedding financial services web3 focused companies while lowering the burden of managing multiple integrations and global licensing requirements.

We are looking for hands-on engineers who love what they do, have high attention to detail and are looking for challenging opportunities which involve building products from scratch. Someone who is proactive, self-driven and always keen to learn will thrive at Merge.

What will you be doing?
On a daily basis, some of your work will involve but is not limited to:

• Write clean, secure, and well-tested code
• Build tools and integrate systems to scale the effectiveness of the product

Skills That Will Help You Excel At Merge

• 2 to 5 years of experience building highly reliable and scalable backend systems
• Experience in two or more languages. Node.js, Typescript, Python, Java, or Go would be ideal.
• Experience in high-throughput distributed systems and microservices
• Experience with AWS and CI/CD workflow
• Driven, and passionate about building products
• You take ownership of your code
• Good communication skills in English
• Familiarity with security best practices
