We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Senior Backend Technical Lead to join our team. In this role, you will lead the development of scalable and robust backend systems that support Biconomy products and enable seamless communication with blockchain networks and external systems.

You will be responsible for designing and implementing performant backend APIs, microservices, and scripts, while ensuring efficient integration with various data storage systems. As a Senior Backend Technical Lead, you will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, drive technical strategies, and ensure high-quality code delivery. You will also be responsible for managing and growing the existing team.

What will you be doing?

• Lead the development of scalable and robust backend systems supporting Biconomy products.
• Design and implement performant backend APIs, microservices, and scripts for seamless communication with blockchain networks and external systems.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to drive technical strategies and ensure timely and high-quality code delivery.
• Optimize code and algorithms for memory, CPU utilization, and data storage efficiency.
• Utilize Node.js, TypeScript, and related frameworks (e.g., NestJS, ExpressJS) for backend development.
• Architect and implement efficient internal services that communicate with each other seamlessly.
• Utilize NoSQL databases and caching layers to optimize data retrieval and storage.
• Apply your knowledge of locks, parallel processing, and multithreading to develop efficient systems.
• Implement effective logging practices for debugging and error resolution.
• Stay updated with emerging technologies and industry best practices in backend development.

Your experience should include:

• 2+ years of professional experience in a lead role, overseeing the development of scalable backend systems.
• Extensive experience in building and maintaining backend REST APIs at scale, handling a high volume of requests without compromising performance.
• Proven track record of designing and implementing microservices architectures that ensure efficient communication between internal services, even during spikes in request volumes.
• Demonstrated expertise in working with NoSQL databases and caching layers like Redis, designing storage-optimized schemas for efficient and fast data retrieval.
• Strong background in implementing concurrent systems using concepts such as locks, parallel processing, and multithreading.
• Proficient in using logging frameworks and implementing effective logging practices to facilitate debugging and error resolution.
• In-depth understanding of decentralized networks and their distributed data storage mechanisms.
