We at Aurora Labs are looking for an experienced, ambitious, responsible, goal oriented B2B Business Development Manager to work on attracting new clients and business opportunities through our Aurora Cloud Solution. This is a full-time position that can be done remotely anywhere in the world.

Aurora builds an Ethereum-compatible network with increased scaling and lower transaction costs.

Aurora is an EVM (Ethereum Virtual Machine) compatible blockchain and ecosystem, running as a decentralized layer 2 on the NEAR Protocol. It powers innovations such as Aurora Cloud, the infrastructure solution to onboard web2 businesses onto web3. Aurora Labs is the development company behind Aurora. The team is made of 40+ seasoned professionals, with backgrounds in the blockchain, software development, traditional finance and technology sectors.

Aurora Cloud represents our SaaS solution aimed at Businesses across a number of key verticals. It is the platform facilitating the seamless integration of blockchain infrastructure for businesses. It offers a comprehensive suite of tools for deploying, managing, and monitoring dedicated blockchain networks within the Aurora ecosystem.

About the Position

This is a Business Development and B2B sales position. Your main responsibilities will be researching, identifying and targeting both new and existing sectors to discover prospecting opportunities. The role will include both self generated lead and opportunity conversion as well as managing inbound leads through the sales process. Aurora will provide you with all the necessary tools to plan and execute outreach in the form of emails, calls, events, LinkedIn and in person meetings to attract new opportunities. As Aurora Cloud scales there will also be upselling to existing customers.

Requirements

- 5+ years of experience working in partnerships, business development, or similar roles at high-growth technology companies.
- 3+ years of B2B sales experience.
- Experience working with technical teams (product management and Engineering), lawyers, and marketers on joint projects.
- In-depth understanding of the cryptocurrency market, blockchain technology, and related financial products.
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment.
- Excellent English written and oral communication skills, as this role requires frequent communication to members of our team and commercial partners.

Responsibilities

- Conducting market research.
- Analyzing market trends and identifying potential clients or partners.
- Planning and executing outreach strategies to attract new leads (emails, cold calls, and utilizing social media platforms like LinkedIn).
- Reaching out to existing prospects and maintaining relationships with them.
- Lead qualification and contract negotiation (assessing the potential of leads, determining their level of interest and readiness to purchase, and negotiating contract terms and conditions).
- Leveraging existing clients or partners to generate new business opportunities through referrals and recommendations.
- Ensuring customer success.
