Web3 Business Operations and Strategy Director

What you’ll be responsible for:

Circle is looking for a Business Operations and Strategy Director to join the Finance team responsible for designing and implementing both tactical and long-term operational strategies. In this role, you will work closely with senior management to achieve key company objectives. The ideal candidate will have profound experience in both traditional and crypto capital markets, with a strong command of the operational complexities of supporting a diversified financial services company built on blockchain technology. This individual will also be passionate about technology, blockchain, cryptocurrencies and financial markets; and will have leadership experience in both business operations and strategy.

What you'll work on:

• Collaborating with senior management in the development of strategic goals and long-term operational plans.
• Maximizing efficiency and productivity through extensive process analysis and interdepartmental collaboration. Analyze current operational processes and performance, recommending solutions for improvement where necessary.
• Developing, implementing, and monitoring day-to-day operational systems and processes to provide visibility into the goals, progress, and obstacles of key initiatives;
• Drawing on relationships with department heads, external partners, and vendors to make decisions in collaboration with senior management regarding operational activity and strategic goals;
• Planing, monitoring, and analyzing key metrics for day-to-day operations to ensure efficient and timely completion of tasks;
• Consulting with leadership on all aspects of managing the business, including planning, staffing, and prioritization.

What you’ll bring to Circle:

• 15+ years experience in financial markets, with strong preference for leadership positions in business operations and strategy.
• 5+ years of experience leading highly performing, highly successful operational teams;
• Passion for crypto, fintech, and financial markets.
• Masterful organizational, communication, and leadership skills, backed by previous professional success.
• Proven ability to plan and manage operational processes for maximum efficiency and productivity.
• Ability to streamline or implement structures and roles that boost speed and efficiency while supporting rapidly shifting business demands.
• Degree in Economics, Finance, Computer Science, Mathematics, or another analytic discipline (Preference will be given to candidates with MBA or Masters from recognised institutions).
• Experience/familiarity with Slack, Apple MacOS and GSuite.

Additional Information:

• This position is eligible for day-one PERM sponsorship for qualified candidates.

The compensation range below is specific to Boston, MA. Actual starting pay is determined by various factors, including but not limited to: relevant experience, skill set, qualifications, and other business and organizational needs. Please note that compensation ranges may differ for candidates in other locations.

Base Pay Range: $190,000 - $265,000

Annual Bonus Target: 20%

Also Included: Equity & Benefits (including medical, dental, vision and 401(k)). Circle has a discretionary vacation policy. We also provide 10 days of paid sick leave per year and 11 paid holidays per year in the U.S.
