Web3 Chief Accountant, Bulgaria

Job Responsibilities:

• Forecast monthly, quarterly and annual budgets and financial results;
• Prepare, approve or reject budgets;
• Prepare, approve or reject payroll related activities;
• Oversee all financial flows for the entity they are responsible for;
• Prepare and submit all tax related transactions;
• Oversee any related changes or activities that may impact financially the local entity;
• Create, manage and track KPIs and metrics for the team;
• Conduct risk management assessment in terms of finance;
• Supervise a team of Payroll specialists and Accountants;
• Allocate resources and manage cash flows;
• Conduct profit and cost analyses;
• Develop secure procedures to maintain confidential information;
• Ensure all accounting activities and internal audits comply with financial regulations;
• Consult board members about funding options;
• Recommend cost-reducing solutions;
• Responsible for reporting to headquarters.

Job Requirements:

• Higher education;
• Work experience as a Chief Accountant, Senior Accountant or similar role;
• The Chief Accountant must have a reasonable understanding of the Company’s business, its technical, financial and organizational structure;
• They must be able to communicate effectively with people at all levels both inside and outside the Company, and should have strong written and verbal communication skills;
• Excellent decision making skills, effective problem solving skills, as well as skills to work independently and in a team.
• Integrity, initiative, perseverance, discretion, ability to respect the personal dignity and rights of each employee, interest in fintech and services and motivation to occupy the position;
• English language; excellent computer literacy.
