# What's the role

We are looking for a high growth-oriented and data-driven Commercial Operations Director to drive forward key strategic growth initiatives, incubate new scalable capabilities, and implement new commercial strategies that align with the company’s strategic business objectives.

In this role, you will report to the EVP, Commercial Operations and collaborate deeply with teams across A&R, Sales, Marketing, Product, Engineering, Finance, and Legal teams.

What You'll Do

  • Accelerate music sync licensing revenue growth by establishing UnitedMasters as the leader in scalable, premium music for brands. You will maintain the overall health of a music sync marketplace, including the volume, quality, and diversity of music in the marketplace as well as the brand customer experience.
  • Serve as a trusted business partner to sales and client service teams to facilitate the definition of operating plans and execute your vision for what capabilities and technologies need to be deployed to achieve those plans.
  • Formulate business plans for artist + brand experiences across emerging fields, like crypto, nft, media, influence, and the creator economy. Execute these plans as we grow.

# Qualifications

Track Record:

  • 8+ years of work experience in strategy & operations roles in tech, media, or strategy consulting
  • Demonstrated success in companies with marketplace business models
  • Ability to collaborate cross-functionally and mobilize expertise from around the company toward a shared vision/outcome
  • History of creating scalable, repeatable solutions that feel custom
  • Be an excellent communicator, presenter, and an agile, creative problem solver

Domain Knowledge:

  • Deep understanding of the music industry, specifically publishing and licensing
  • Demonstrate PoV in the state of crypto, NFTs, or influence in the creator economy
  • Understands the unique value proposition UnitedMasters holds at the intersection of the world’s top brands and 1M+ independent global artists
