About the team:

Luno is a market leading crypto exchange on a mission to put the power of crypto into everyone’s hands. You will be apart our Marketing team, based in South Africa.This is an amazing opportunity to join a talented and collaborative global Marketing team.

Your mission will be:

• Key areas of responsibility will be the creation of global marketing content and communication materials. You will lead and support campaign rollout & deliver multi-channel copy that’s clear, compelling and on-brand
• You will continuously provide new creative ideas and copy.
• Go from marketing briefs all the way to delivery: challenge assumptions, ideate, manage cross-functional stakeholder feedback, develop concepts, bring them to life with clear & compelling writing, present them persuasively.
• Ensure content is clear, accurate, consistent, and aligns with the company’s overarching content standards, education strategy, tone of voice, and wider strategic objectives.
• Engage with regional teams and their briefs, understanding how their requests align with overall Luno objectives.
• Work closely with the Customer Communications Lead and the Head of Product Marketing to ensure consistency of messaging across channels.
• Collaborate with regional teams to localise benefits and tone with sensitivity and insight. Help develop processes and systems that support efficient processes and workflow at scale.

A little about you:

• Relevant copywriting experience.
• Strong creative writing and editorial skills, able to build upon an existing tone of voice and write with simplicity and power about cryptocurrency, and investments.
• You will have proven your ability to take marketing & communications briefs, ideate creative concepts, clearly communicate a key message and user benefit and deliver effective performance marketing with evidence of growth outcomes
• Strong understanding of Marketing copywriting best practices, always putting the needs of the customer first.
• A strong personal and professional interest in cryptocurrencies, blockchain and finance.
• An ability to work independently with excellent organisation and project management skills, including a track record of initiative, problem-solving, and adaptability.
• An ability to build and maintain meaningful, collaborative relationships with cross-functional teams across the wider business.
