WHAT WE NEEDÂ
Avant Arte’s content and marketing has a reputation as among the most innovative and high-quality of any in the art world, and is an extension of the brand's mission to make collecting art more accessible.
The Creative plays a central role in delivering and supporting this, being part of a team who create cut-through content that tells the story of each and every artwork we release.
Core responsibilities include:
Creating on-brand visual and written content at the highest level of quality, to support the launch of limited edition artworksÂ
Developing innovative concepts and campaign proposals for collaborations with artists and institutionsÂ
Writing pitches and briefs which articulate your ideas precisely and compellinglyÂ
Proactively leading, and contributing to, wider projects and initiatives that help keep Avant Arte’s content a reference point, connect editions with audiences in new ways and amplify the brand
Lead film and stills shoots, both remotely and sometimes on-location in the UK
Working effectively and collaboratively with other teams across the business, from artist liaisons to our printmaking studioÂ
Delivering assets and copy for website and social media, plus considered, concise and clear front-end page builds in CMSÂ
Providing content and copy support to marketing and wider business, where requiredÂ
Using insights to guide iterative optimisations to improve your own and the wider teams outputÂ
Working strategically to manage multiple projects concurrentlyÂ
Collaborating with writers, photographers, videographers, editors and producersÂ
The main skills we’re looking for are:
Strong and distinct creative visionÂ
Refined visual acumen and aesthetic sensibilityÂ
Interdisciplinary creative outlook and approachÂ
Concept development for internal and external pitchesÂ
Creative and art direction (including briefs, direction on-set and delivery)
Writing and editingÂ
Content strategy, including for social mediaÂ
Passionate and knowledgeable about art and its position within wider cultureÂ
Digital asset creation (Adobe CS, Figma, etc.)Â
Ability to build web content using a front end CMSÂ
Able to work quickly across multiple projects without compromising quality of precisionÂ
Able to work flexibly and under pressure Â
We think you’ll probably have:
At least 4-5+ years of relevant professional experience, gained through roles in either creative agencies or relevant in-house positionsÂ
A portfolio or website showcasing your best workÂ
A polymathic mindset - someone who is able and excited to combine innovative, impactful visual and written content with strategic, commercially-oriented thinking
