We're looking for an experienced Creative Director to drive creative output across a range of innovative projects – with a strong background in design and demonstrated expertise bringing brand into product to elevate the experience. We’re working to create inclusive, culturally relevant products, services, and experiences.
Okcoin builds mobile-first experiences through products and features that cater to retail investors as we evolve the business beyond the core trader customer base. We make it easy to buy and sell crypto and provide access to passive income earning opportunities, but we need to continue innovating and rounding out the retail offering. Okcoin is seeking a Creative Director to join us on this quest to make crypto accessible to everyone.
As the Creative Director, you will be an on-the-ground influencer for design culture and innovation. You’ll lead a team of designers on various initiatives across product, always with the mission of cultivating, and spreading your creative expertise.
What You’ll Achieve
- Take charge of projects from conception to execution
- Be the go-to resource for our creative leadership, helping them accomplish large design initiatives with the intention of creating and driving our design standard
- Lead cross-disciplinary teams to conceive, execute, and deliver beautiful, thoughtful, and impactful solutions on the global stage
- Build trust, and position us to tackle incredibly ambitious future projects
- Continually develop and inspire colleagues to innovate and harness new ways of thinking
- Build and lead a global team of creatives
- Responsible for the ideas and the creative work and for articulating a compelling story
What We Look For In You
- A portfolio of exceptional creative work that shows depth and substance
- 5+ years' agency background + people management experience of at least 5 people
- Experience building a team and able to attract exceptional creatives
- A developed design background, including leadership over the entire creative process with a deep understanding of user experience and product lifecycle
- Be a strong "systems thinker," always working within the context of the big picture
- Excellent presentation skills and communication abilities - You can sell an idea clearly and confidently
- Strong ability to ensure the final work is on-brand and delivers on strategic and business goals
- Proven skill as a trusted leader, mentor, and support within the visual design group and beyond
Nice to Haves:
- Experience working in FinTech and/or crypto
- Experience having worked at a startup and with global teams
- Experience managing Art Directors & Creative Directors
- Mandarin Speaking
- Experience working with an APAC company
