Job Responsibilities:

  • Conduct outbound telephone calls to customers, initiating conversations about scam activities prevalent in the crypto industry.
  • Provide accurate information and guidance on identifying and avoiding common crypto scams, including phishing attempts, fraudulent investment schemes, and misleading projects.
  • Engage in active listening to understand the concerns, questions, and experiences of individuals regarding scams in the crypto space.
  • Offer empathetic support and address queries, alleviating any doubts or misconceptions about cryptocurrencies and their associated risks.
  • Share educational resources, such as articles, videos, and recommended websites, to promote increased awareness and understanding of crypto-related scams.
  • Maintain accurate records of conversations, including feedback, concerns, and any reported scam incidents, and document these in the company's internal systems.
  • Collaborate with the company's fraud prevention team to identify emerging scam trends and contribute to the development of educational materials and preventive measures.
  • Continuously update your knowledge of the latest scam tactics, industry regulations, and security practices to ensure the highest level of accuracy and effectiveness in your conversations
  • Previous experience in a customer support, fraud prevention, or educational role in the crypto or financial industry;
  • Experience with and competent in processing a high volume of calls per day;
  • Experience analyzing information and summarizing conclusions accurately;
  • An inquisitive mind and resourceful to be able to conduct investigations
  • Whilst not necessary candidates who have experience in fast growing companies or fully remote roles will be preferred.
  • Strong verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage, persuade, and empathize with individuals over the phone.
  • Solid understanding of the crypto industry, including knowledge of various cryptocurrencies, blockchain technology, and associated risks.
  • Familiarity with common scam tactics prevalent in the crypto space, and the ability to explain them in a clear and accessible manner.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and provide practical advice to individuals seeking guidance.
  • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail to maintain accurate records and contribute to data-driven insights.
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities, work independently, and meet targets within established timelines. Strong ethical values and a commitment to promoting a safe and secure crypto ecosystem.
  • Fast internet connection (5mpbs broadband internet connection)
  • Must be amenable to work on a hybrid set up, shifting roster (morning, mid, night shift) and weekend schedule
