What you'll do
- Conduct field sales activities to identify, approach, and onboard SME merchants across assigned territories.
- Promote and sell the company’s payment solutions (e.g., QR payments, e-wallets) to target businesses.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with SME merchants to ensure high satisfaction, transaction volume, and retention.
- Handle the end-to-end merchant onboarding process, ensuring smooth coordination with Product, Operations, and Technical teams.
- Negotiate merchant discount rates (MDRs) and commercial terms in line with company policies.
- Serve as the main point of contact for merchant concerns, inquiries, and after-sales support.
- Monitor merchant performance and transaction activity to identify growth opportunities, including cross-selling and upselling.
- Stay updated on SME market trends, competitor activities, and local business dynamics to guide sales strategies and execution.
What we expect from you
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or any related field.
- At least 1-3 years of experience in field sales, house-to-house selling, merchant acquisition, or business development, preferably within fintech, banking, or e-commerce sectors.
- Fresh graduates with strong potential and the right attitude are also welcome to apply.
- Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Strong customer service mindset with the ability to build lasting relationships with SMEs.
- Willingness to work in the field and travel within assigned areas.
- Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and capable of working independently with minimal supervision.
