About the Codefi product group

Codefi is at the forefront of the blockchain fintech revolution and builds, deploys, and runs critical applications across both Enterprise and crypto/DeFi and multiple blockchain verticals (assets, payments, workflows, data, etc.). The product group is composed of multiple decentralised product teams across all verticals, distributed across Europe and US and working mostly remotely. Our software powers Web3 commerce and finance, optimizes business processes and digitizes financial instruments, and enables decentralised finance and NFT platforms (DeFi).

What you'll get to work on:

We are seeking individuals with a background in crypto research, strategic community management, and emerging DAO governance to join the Crypto-economic team at ConsenSys. Our crypto-economic team is working on token engineering, DAO design, and DAO launch across ConsenSys products and third party protocols. This role will focus on the design of structured governance and participation frameworks and positive sum feedback loops for ecosystem engagement. The DAO Strategist will have the opportunity for deep exposure to the crypto ecosystem, as well as learning and understanding the best practices of DeFi, NFT, and DAO design.

Responsibilities:

• Join the crypto-economic team to help design and implement structured governance, social, and participatory DAO frameworks
• Work with internal and external projects to create alignment towards DAO launches, and their operational and financial mechanics
• Incorporate the voice of the global Web3 community and its needs in our product development process
• Collaborate with product managers to discover new opportunities to serve DAOs, including identifying and making introductions to DAOs that are relevant to Consensys’ product roadmap.

Background:

• Degree in the social sciences, finance, communication, or technical fields
• Demonstrated ability to attract followers and participants to crypto causes, management of communities, and a positive reputation in Web3
• Demonstrated interest in blockchain, crypto, and decentralized economies
• Compelling ability to tell stories that appeal across a broad range of audiences
• Experience working cross functionally with marketing, sales, product, and research
• Commitment to promoting the ecosystem and the ConsenSys team
• Ability to work independently with senior stakeholders across the firm
