Web3 Data Analytics Engineer

We are looking for a fulltime Data Analytics Engineer to strengthen our ambitious asset management team in Zurich.

Tasks

• Responsible for collection, processing, and storing of price, fundamental, and on-chain data from various sources using relational and non-relational database solutions
• Responsible for design, implementation, and support of dashboards and web apps that interface inhouse quant data and analytics platform for internal and external users
• Contribute towards software development and operations of Sygnum Asset Management analytics
• Support of quant research with data structuring and analysis
• Communicate with the IT department on operational topics

Requirements

• A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or Information
  Technology

• Two plus years of professional experience, preferably in the financial industry

• Experience in database design and management including SQL,
  PostgreSQL is a must

• Professional knowledge of Python

• Experience with plotly/dash and interactive visualizations tools in Python eco-system

• Working knowledge of object-oriented programming in C++/Java/Python

• Exposure to Azure environment

• Familiarity with development and version control tools (Git, bitbucket, etc.)

• Experience in building pipelines using automated workflow (Airflow)

• Fluent in spoken and written English

• Ability to handle a fast-paced environment and many moving parts at once

• Great team player

  Nice to have:

• Experience with time series data and analysis

• Experience with design and implementation of frontend web app (React, JS, HTML, CSS)

• Exposure to non-relational databases

• Excel integration with Python (xlwings)

• Experience with digital assets/ crypto currencies
