Team Overview

Enabling technologies such as blockchain and AI are revolutionizing various industries, driving a fundamental transformation in the economy. This shift redefines conventional processes, creating remarkable opportunities for growth and innovation, and pushing the world towards a more digitalized landscape. As a consequence, the impact of these advancements extends to the capital markets.

There is a lot going on, and Moody’s Investors Service (MIS) has adopted a proactive approach for digital finance to assess the direction, magnitude and consequences of digitalization and its cybersecurity aspects.

As the digitalization of financial markets accelerates, fuelled by blockchain and other emerging technologies, the MIS Decentralized Finance and Digital Assets (DFDA) organization leads initiatives to build MIS' strategy for blockchain, digital assets and DeFi. Our cross-MIS efforts are designed to ensure Analytical and Business preparedness to participate in digital financial markets – from understanding the impact of digital assets in the rating process and in our credit views, to being able to ingest and process data, and disseminate content via Blockchain platforms.

  • Contribute to designing and running simulations for stress testing and backtesting of platform token's risk parameters; and analyze on-chain and market data through various analytics and data science tools to draw conclusions on the market.
