Web3 Director of Financial Reporting

Compensation: $84k - $90k estimated

Location: Atlanta, Georgia, United States

Bitcoin Depot is seeking a Director of Financial Reporting who will play a vital role in supporting Bitcoin Depot’s growth as a member of the company’s accounting team. As a member of Bitcoin Depot’s Accounting team, this position will work closely with the Bitcoin Depot Controller to manage external reporting, define accounting policies and complete the annual audit. The ideal candidate will contribute both at both hands-on and strategic levels.

This is a full time role located in our Atlanta office.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Oversee preparation and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual consolidated financial statements.
  • Ensures that reports, filings, and documentation complies with Company’s regulations, professional standards and requirements
  • Advises management of trends and changes in reporting requirements
  • Participate in general ledger maintenance and monthly/quarterly balance sheet reconciliations for assigned accounts and segments
  • Planning, organizing and coordinating the year-end close process with internal stakeholders and external auditors
  • Manage the annual audit process with the Controller
  • Ensure all financial reports are prepared in a timely and accurate manner
  • Interact with our external accounting firm as needed

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree.
  • CPA License
  • 10+ years’ experience in accounting or related field
  • SEC Reporting Experience
  • Advanced Technical Accounting Knowledge
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
