The Starknet Foundation is a new organisation established to support the development of Starknet, a state-of-the-art layer 2 blockchain network built on top of Ethereum. Our mission is to unlock Ethereum’s scalability and efficiency, making decentralized applications more accessible and effective. As an Event Coordinator, you will support our Events Lead in organizing and executing top-notch events across the globe. You will play a key role in the coordination of events to ensure they run smoothly and meet our objectives.
Responsibilities:
• Assist in the planning and execution of various events, including conferences, hacker houses, and dinners.
• Coordinate with vendors, venues and other stakeholders to ensure all aspects of the event are aligned with our goals.
• Support event logistics, including catering and branding.
• Monitor event timelines and ensure all deadlines are met.
• Support onsite event management, including setup, coordination and breakdown.
• Collaborate with colleagues and partners to promote events and manage attendee registrations.
• Evaluate event success and provide detailed reports on outcomes.
• Lead sales and delivery of sponsorships for Starknet Foundation-owned events.
• Support our DevRel team with regional events, including invoices, tracking and success metrics.
Requirements:
• Minimum of 2 years experience in event planning or coordination.
• Strong organizational and project management skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and under pressure.
• Experience with web3 technology is a plus but not required.
• Willingness to travel globally as needed to manage and oversee events.
