Web3 Finance Director, SG & MY Operations

About the Opportunity

The Risk function at OKX is responsible for the overall Risk culture at the company. We are a team of risk-minded problem solvers who advise the business on the company’s regulatory obligations and business risk controls. We look for an executive candidate to fill the Group Chief Risk Officer role.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Oversee and manage the finance operations teams located in Singapore and Malaysia
• Ensure timely and accurate accounting processes, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger, while adhering to local and international accounting standards
• Manage the company-level monthly closing process, ensuring compliance with local and international accounting standards, and providing timely and accurate financial reporting packages to the group reporting team.
• Oversee finance expenditure processes. Develop and maintain robust financial controls and policies to minimize risks and ensure compliance with relevant regulations, while driving operational efficiencies as well
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive process improvements and operational efficiencies, identifying opportunities for cost savings.
• Provide leadership, guidance, and support to the finance operations teams, fostering a culture of continuous learning and development, and promoting a high-performance work environment.
• Maintain and expand banking relationship
• Monitor and maintain the continuous compliance of all banking transactions
• Monitoring and forecasting the liquidity position

What We Look For In You:

• Bachelor’s degree in finance/Accounting, or related field
• Professional certification (e.g., CPA, ACCA)
• 10+ years of experience in finance operations, with at least 5 years in a leadership role, preferably within the cryptocurrency or fintech industry
• Strong track record of driving performance and achieving results
• Strong knowledge of international accounting standards and local accounting regulations
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders, and to present complex financial information in a clear and concise manner.
