Binance is currently looking for an experienced Finance expert, who will support with managing our portfolio companies across Australia and New Zealand. This position involves more than just financial accounting, reconciliation and financial reporting, it will also need to work closely with the management team to support the requirements of the business.

The Financial Accountant should have strong attention to detail, a strategic finance mindset and a character that is one of high integrity.

The location for this job is open to Australia & New Zealand and can work remotely. We are not able to support a working Visa for this role.

Responsibilities

    • Maintain general ledgers and end-to-end month end processing
    • Maintain Fixed Assets and Prepayment Registers
    • Deliver balance sheet reconciliations, internal management reports, monthly financial reports in accordance with AASB
    • Assist with statutory accounts and regulatory compliance under AFSL
    • Work together with tax consultants to prepare and submit income tax returns and BAS and other taxation matters as/when required
    • Assist in process improvement and systems enhancement initiatives
    • Ensure compliance of statutory and regulatory requirements
    • Liaise with external auditors and accountants
    • Support both Australia and New Zealand operations
    • Work on ad-hoc projects assigned by the Financial Controller and contribute effectively

Requirements

    • CA/CPA or working towards this qualification
    • A minimum of 3 years of work experience in the accounting and finance sector
    • Solid understanding of AASB, ITAA, GST and FBT
    • Relevant experience in ASIC regulatory compliance 
    • Advanced excel skills and experience in NetSuite accounting systems 
    • Demonstrated initiative and ability to work in a fast-paced, changing environment
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment
