Authentick is a Web3 native startup looking to support buyers in the NFT space through information pieces, content awareness and a verification system developed to not only score a NFT project but also highlight information about that project. Our mission at Authentick is to help people make safer, faster, and better decisions about NFTs.

We’re looking for someone who’s not afraid to get their hand dirty and is passionate about building great products to shape the future of the NFT space.
Working directly with the CEO as a strategic advisor – you will lead the team to bring Authentick’s vision to life and create an incredible user experience!
We are looking for Head of Engineering with the following:
- Business Acumen - Knowledgeable in current and possible future policies, practices, trends, and information affecting their organization; and aware of how strategies and tactics work in the marketplace.
- Managerial Courage – Provide current, direct, complete, and “actionable” positive, negative and corrective feedback
- Building Effective Teams – Blend people into teams when needed; create strong morale in their team; share wins and successes; foster open dialogue
- Technical Learning – Good at learning new industry, company, product, or technical knowledge
- Dealing With Ambiguity – Effectively cope with change, risk and uncertainty during product iterations
In this role, you need to:
- Move us from 0.1 to 1 — launch our own NFT marketplace! Do not worry we have an unique set of differentiation features in mind already.
- Drive technical direction, roadmap execution and feasibility
- Successfully manage overseas outsourced team of engineers from ideation to execution
- Build, mentor and structure new teams
- Implement and maintain engineering best practices
- Stay up-to-date with the latest Web3 and NFT technology trends and incorporate them into our platform where appropriate. How do you feel about ERC 4337? Drop a note on that in the first conversation
- Establish a positive and inclusive team culture, where everyone feels valued, respected, and empowered to do their best work
Requirements:
- Proven experience attracting, hiring, retaining, and leading top engineering talent
- Experience in Crypto and eCommerce/marketplace - with a focus on wallets, payments, pricing and listing
- Experience with Smart Contracts — we do not plan to deploy our own Smart Contracts just yet but we will
- Experience with security resiliency when integrating with marketplaces
