Web3 Product Designer

About the job

We need a talented, ambitious, hard-working Product Designer with 4+ years of experience who can help us envision and build the future of human-machine interaction 🤯. 

We need someone who can churn out high quality product design for our web apps, while also thinking strategically at a very high level how we can change the way people use computers for the next era of work. 

You are that person.

You’re energized by the idea of designing new interfaces for AI capabilities that have never existed before–think hands-free work and entirely new ways to interact with your computer. 

You’re hungry to iterate quickly: you thrive on rapidly building, testing, learning, and sometimes failing–only to get right back up and make it even better. You love collaborative feedback and believe that’s how truly incredible designs are born. You are autonomous, and like taking on big, ambiguous problems. 

You’re flexible across platforms—you’ll spend most of your time on web design, but you’re happy to dabble in mobile and desktop if it means delivering an epic user experience 

You’re willing to work nights and weekends if needed to get key projects over the line. But you (like us!) are more than your designs and your hard work! You love building a culture where people love to work (❤️) and believe in putting people first while having a ton of fun doing your job (😁).

What you’ll do in the role

• Define new design paradigms for AI-driven interfaces, fundamentally changing the way humans interact with computers.

• Rapidly concept, prototype, and iterate on designs to test new product ideas, leveraging continuous user feedback and A/B testing where it makes sense.

• Collaborate deeply with engineers to infuse AI into every aspect of the user experience

• Bring your thought leadership to the enterprise AI space, showing customers (and the world) how design can 10x user experience in AI

• Work across platforms (web, mobile, desktop) to ensure our AI experiences are seamless, consistent, and delightful

• Contribute to product strategy in close partnership with product managers and engineers

• Drive key business metrics to set Village apart as a leader in AI 

• Have an inordinate amount of fun while shaping the future of work 

Position Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in product design related field (nice to have, not required)

• 4+ years of professional design experience (e.g. digital product design, UI/UX, interaction design) 

• A portfolio showcasing iterative design processes and shipped products or features 

• Experience with Figma/AdobeXD or similar tools

• Passion for rapid iteration and the resilience to embrace feedback, learn from missteps, and keep pushing forward.

• Strong collaboration and communication skills—willing and able to work seamlessly with engineers, product managers, and other designers
