What you’ll do

We are seeking an individual with a deep interest in NFT market analysis and investment to join the Cryptoeconomics & Investments team at ConsenSys. The team is responsible for recommending the capital markets view and investment strategy of the firm, with close connectivity to treasury management of our balance sheet, and decentralized finance product design and distribution.

The ideal candidate will contribute to our crypto data management process for portfolio management, token analysis, as well as reporting efforts around digital objects. A detailed view across cryptocurrencies, understanding of various token metrics, and how they fit into an overall conceptual framework as assets is helpful. The strategist will have the opportunity to develop market-leading expertise on the NFT ecosystem by deeply understanding the top projects and engaging with stakeholders on portfolio management.

Responsibilities:

• Be an engaged and active participant of the Cryptoeconomics & Investments team at ConsenSys, contribute to NFT markets analysis
• Provide the investment team with analysis on the current NFT landscape based on fundamental and sentiment metrics
• Identify actionable NFT opportunities for investment, backed by qualitative and quantitative evidence
• Familiarity with the NFT community specifically, including a knowledge of successful projects in the industry and their approach going to market
• Understand and communicate the risks and exposure management in the NFT space to internal and external audiences.
• Have a view on both cultural signaling and artistic merit; rarities and distribution curves; community aspects and DAOs.

Would be great if you brought this to the role

• Degree in a quantitative field (e.g, Economics, Mathematics, Physics) or one that studies human nature (e.g, Art, Psychology)
• Strong strategic and analytical skills to translate incomplete information into recommendations and actionable insights, including comfort with spreadsheets
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to juggle multiple on-going projects simultaneously at various stages of the creative process
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Passion for NFT investing and the ConsenSys mission
