The Role:
The Partner Success Director plays a key role within the RippleX organization by managing the success of our existing [strategic?] partner ecosystem. The PSD will be responsible for deepening relationships with existing partners, identifying and tracking partner needs and feedback for XRPL and Ripple-developed technologies, and working cross-functionally to advocate for such partner needs with engineering, product, security, legal, and other teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage all aspects of existing RippleX partnerships, including owning partner relations, ensuring partner success, and developing new growth opportunities
- Lead in an engaged, hands-on way, using tactical project management to drive shared initiatives and creatively solve complex business and operational issues which may inhibit partner adoption and full utilization of XRPL or Ripple technologies
- Develop a deep understanding of priority partner’s organizations, goals and priorities, culture, aspirations, and needs to build highly impactful relationships with and to influence key executives and decision-makers - in addition to identifying aspects of Ripple’s engagement and advocacy that we need to strengthen
- Understand each partner's Ripple-specific needs and commercial targets which can be impacted by Ripple
- Build alignment among internal stakeholders and escalate decisions as required through formal and informal communication
- Become a thought-leader among partners, enabling them to better exploit the potential of XRPL and participate in the development of new and ground-breaking applications
- Be the voice of RippleX’s partners within the Ripple organization, ensuring that feedback and insights gained are proactively disseminated, inculcated, and acted upon by Ripple from product and engineering to marketing and business and corporate development to make future deals even better
- Drive strong collaboration across several Ripple functions (e.g. Product, Engineering, Corporate Development, Business Development, Finance, Marketing, and Legal) and our partners’ project and business teams
Requirements:
- 12+ years of experience working with enterprise customers on the adoption of new technology and/or transformational business changes.
- Prior experience working for a startup/disruptor organization; experience working within the crypto / blockchain industry preferred but not required
- Demonstrable understanding of multi-stakeholder management in complex environments
- Knowledge of or predisposition to quickly learn crypto businesses and technologies
- High energy, and gravitas - ability to instill confidence and enthusiasm in others at all levels of an organization, especially with C-level executives
- Excellence in building and maintaining relationships among cross-functional teams
- Excellent interpersonal skills and experience in coaching others. Ability to consult, motivate and inspire others to achieve challenging goals by leading through example
- Out-of-the-box thinker and client advocate with a passion for driving innovative solutions independently
- Sense of urgency and self-motivation; demonstrate a bias for action
