About the Team

Our Quality Engineers strive to be the first and last line of defense in ensuring we deliver the best quality experience our users have in the world of cryptocurrency. As a member of the growing Quality Engineering group, our mission is to not only find and report the defect, but how we can get better in introducing less defects into the wild.

About the Opportunity

The successful candidate has a passion to understand the software under test, and the excitement to share that passion with the cross functional team at Okcoin. As a software engineer in quality, you understand that we will have busy cycles, but are constantly looking for ways to reduce the number of such cycles that we may get.

You’ll excel in the fast moving world of cryptocurrency, managing incoming requests for testing. Prioritizing time and effort, you will be able to communicate often on the quality of the features being tested.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Gather & analyze requirements to develop the necessary tests to ensure quality
• Estimate the level of effort required to deliver a feature
• Create automated tests and provide reports on the progress of manual/automated tests
• Work with development team to identify and resolve problems
• Participate in technical discussions within the QE team as well as other groups associated with assign projects

What We Look For In You:

• At least 3-5 years experience working in software quality for a web/mobile application
• Demonstrate the ability to develop test plans and test cases
• Report status on testing and overall quality report
• Experience with a scripting or object oriented language

Nice to Haves:

• You either are already or are eager to become an expert in the blockchain and cryptocurrency landscape and will understand how speculators, traders, digital asset exchanges, blockchain money services businesses and financial institutions operate.
• Experience working in a disruptive technology, successfully launching products, ideally, within FinTech, eCommerce, SaaS, AdTech, or Digital Wallet business experience
• Use of automation tools like selenium, webdriver or cypress
• SQL/NoSQL experience
• Experience with Jenkins, AWS and git (Github/Gitlab)
